Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass) "Haunted Rock" is such an incredibly apt term. The music is incredibly sparse but very filled out, the vocals really selling the atmosphere and tone. Relaxing yet engaging. Favorite track: Lesbians Whores And Witches.

ravenigma "Haunted Rock" is how they describe their sound and I don't think I could come up with a better description. Mutterlein has an incredible amount of atmosphere and the production values are absolutely perfect for their style: just dirty and "off" enough to maintain a less-than-comfortable feeling throughout the album. I can't get enough of this.
